ISHKHAN
Rows of concrete raceway pools

Our farms

Our farms in Armenia.

01 — Introduction

Ishkhan began in 2011 on a plot of artesian water in the Ararat Valley.

We took our first pools here in 2011 and have been adding to them since. The farm now grows around 3,000 tonnes of fish a year, and every batch can still be traced back to the pool it came from. Nothing on the catalogue is bought in and relabelled.

02 — Mission & values

To grow fish that tastes of the water it came from, and to make an Armenian farm straightforward to work with from Europe or the Gulf.

Water before yield

Growth follows the water temperature, not the order book.

Traceability

Every batch is tied to the pool it came from, and stays tied to it through packing.
